Getting there is straightforward via Kusel or Lauterecken. Erdesbach can also be reached by bus – though with limited frequency. The starting point is quiet, almost unassuming – yet the trail quickly reveals its full variety.

For me, this was not a route you simply “walk” – it is one you experience. I would recommend it to anyone looking for more than just kilometres – namely a genuine connection with nature.
