I hike, I photograph – and now my favourite moments are available as wall prints, photo wallpapers or mugs. Here I’ll show you what’s new.
I’m often asked what I actually do with my photos. For a long time the answer was: they end up on my blog, on Instagram, maybe on a hard drive somewhere. At some point that wasn’t enough for me. Because some of the moments I experience outside are simply too beautiful to disappear in a feed.

That’s why there are now products. No generic stock photos, no AI images – but real shots from real hikes. Things I saw and photographed myself along the way. And recently also: photo wallpapers. More on that in a moment.
What’s been there so far – and why I made it
It started with mugs and wall prints. Sounds like typical blogger merch at first, I know. But I see it differently: if you hold a mug in your hands every morning that shows a real moment from nature – that’s more than decoration. It’s a kind of quiet reminder.
A good example of this is the Lauschender Hase am Feldweg Enamel Mug. The hare in the photo is simply sitting there – right in the middle of the field path, listening in all directions, completely in its own world. I came across it on a perfectly ordinary spring hike. These kinds of encounters happen when you walk slowly enough. The mug reminds me of that every morning.
It’s much the same with the Schilf im Wind – Gold trifft Blau Acrylic Glass. The reeds along the Rhine in winter, the plumes swaying, the sky that deep shade of blue – you just stand there and don’t want to move on. As an acrylic glass wall print, it has a depth that mattered to me. Not smooth and flat, but with a real sense of light.
New: photo wallpapers – for those who want to go bigger
Now comes the thing I most want to talk about: photo wallpapers. The idea honestly didn’t come from me alone. Several readers asked whether my landscape photos were also available in large format – as a real statement for a wall, not just a small picture.
The first photo wallpaper I published is the Einsamer Baum zwischen Raps und Grün Photo Wallpaper. A single tree, to the left the bright yellow of a blooming rapeseed field, to the right the quiet green of young fields. Spring in Germany, nothing more. But that’s exactly what makes it special.
I thought for a long time about which photo should be the first to fill an entire wall. It had to be something that works on a large surface too – not too much, not too loud. This tree has that. It simply stands there. That’s its whole secret.
Who is this for?
I’m not writing this because I have something to sell. I’m writing it because I understand myself what it feels like to love a landscape and not always be able to go there. Whether because you’re no longer as mobile. Because work leaves no time. Or simply because you live in the Ruhrgebiet and the nearest rapeseed field is a car journey away.
These products are for people who:
- want a specific place or mood from German nature in their home
- don’t like generic glossy photos but appreciate real moments
- want a quiet start to the day in the morning – whether with a mug or looking at a calm wall
- want to give someone a gift that doesn’t look like mass-produced online shop merchandise
What comes next
This is only the beginning. I have hundreds of photos from recent years – from the Rheindelta, from the Eifel, from the Niederrhein, from orchard meadows and quiet forest paths. Not everything will become a product. But the things that really work, that have captured a moment rather than just being a pretty picture – those will be added gradually.
If there’s a mood or a landscape you miss, feel free to write to me. I’ll have a look at what’s sleeping in my archive. Sometimes the photo is already there – it’s just waiting to make it onto a wall.
