Potzberg/Remigiusberg circular trail
📍 Starting point & getting there
The circular route Potzberg/Remigiusberg starts at the car park below the Remigiusbergkirche near Theisbergstegen. Access is via the B423 or the L362. Parking is available near the church – with direct access to the trail. Theisbergstegen is also reachable by train – an ideal starting point for those travelling sustainably. Even the start, with views of the Propsteikirche and the Potzberg, leaves you wanting more.
🚶 Trail character
The route covers around 11 km through varied landscapes around the Potzberg and the Remigiusberg. The path offers wide views, open fields, historic sites and quiet stretches of forest. The ascents are moderate, and the surface alternates between gravel paths, forest trails and meadow sections. This tour combines a nature experience with cultural history – not overwhelming, but with real depth. On a clear day, the views stretch as far as the Hunsrück and beyond the Glantal.
