The Traumschleife Römer-Keltenpfad begins in the quiet village of Otzenhausen, ideally right at the Keltenpark or one of the signposted hiking car parks. Getting there is straightforward: by car via the A1 or B41, parking is available. Otzenhausen is also reachable by public transport – a bus runs from the nearest train stop to the centre. The start of the loop is well marked and within just a few metres you are surrounded by greenery.

This Traumschleife is a genuine nature experience with historical depth. Over 13.8 km the trail leads through forests, along soft paths and past historically significant places. The route is varied, slightly ascending in places, but overall easy to walk. Especially in spring the tour feels like a green open-air museum – with old walls, moss-covered stones and bright woodland flowers. The Römer-Keltenpfad lives from the interplay between the silence of nature and historical traces that repeatedly invite you to pause.

The Römer-Keltenpfad is ideal for everyone looking for more than just kilometres. For me it was one of the quietest and at the same time most impressive loops in spring. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to find some peace – completely free from distraction.
